Veterans & Families Open Day - Overview

The aim of our Veterans & Families Open Day is to have a ‘one-stop shop’ for Veterans and their families to walk in, have a ‘brew’ and see what services are available to them (locally and nationally); plus how to access that support. Some of the services who regularly attend and provide real-time information, advice and guidance are as follows: Veterans UK, RFEA, DWP, RAFBF, Help for Heroes, Carers First, Health Watch, Op Courage (a NHS service), Connect to Support Lincolnshire, Blind Vets UK & Op Nova, to name but a few.

Veterans & Families Open Day - 30 October 2024

Our next event will take place on 30 October 2024 – Jubilee Church Life Centre Grantham NG31 6EY

Many familiar organisations will be in attendance such as the RAFBF, Help for Heroes, Op Courage (NHS Veterans service), SSAFA, Carers First, Op Nova, Blind Vets UK, RBL plus RBL Women’s Section and many more.  Timings are 10:00 to 14:00 (10am to 2pm) but please note, if you arrive in the last hour there is no guarantee that the service you want to access will still be there.  We cannot force organisations to stay there if no one is coming through the door; so please plan accordingly!
